Put StaySketch on your home screen
StaySketch installs straight from your browser — no app store, no extra download. It takes under a minute and opens full-screen like any other app. Take room photos for staging on iPhone; live AR measuring needs a compatible Android phone and browser.
You're on a computer
The home-screen install is a phone thing. Open staysketch.com on your iPhone (in Safari) or Android phone (in Chrome), then follow the steps for your phone below.
iPhone / iPad
Open staysketch.com in Safari
On iPhone, this only works in Safari — Chrome and other browsers can't add home-screen icons.
Tap the Share button
It's the square with an arrow pointing up, in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Tap “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the share menu until you see it, then tap it.
Tap “Add” in the top corner
The StaySketch icon now appears on your home screen and opens full-screen like a regular app.
Android
Open staysketch.com in Chrome
Chrome handles the install on Android phones.
Tap the ⋮ menu
It's at the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap “Add to Home screen”
If Chrome shows an install banner at the bottom of the page, you can tap that instead — same result.
Confirm with “Add”
The StaySketch icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen, like a regular app.

Does it cost anything to install?+
No. Installing is free — you're just adding a shortcut that opens StaySketch full-screen. Your $9/month subscription (after the 7-day trial) covers the app itself.
Will the camera and AR work in the app?+
Camera photos work on iPhone and Android. Live AR measuring and true-to-scale staging need Chrome on an AR-compatible Android phone. iPhone browsers cannot access that room tracking, even on Pro models with LiDAR; installing the app does not unlock it. On iPhone, use photo staging and Apple’s Measure app for room lengths.
How do I remove it later?+
Press and hold the home-screen icon and choose Remove / Delete app. Your account and plans are untouched — you can reinstall any time.
